Etude House Cookie Blusher in Raspberry Tarte

Etude House is one of thr many Korean cosmetic and skin care brands that invaded our shores and boy oh boy! I'm glad they did :) I always pass by their stall here in SM Fairview but never really got the chance to buy any from them until last weekend.

Glad I did because I found one of the cutest blusher I've ever seen! It's their Cookie Blusher in Raspberry Tarte shade. There are a lot of blusher on display but this cutie caught my eyes.

The packaging is really cute, it makes you feel like a little princess (lol). I like the dome like cover as it gives enough space for the puff inside. Yes my dear, it has it's own applicator included. So no need to buy a separate brush!

When you look at it as it is, you might be a little hesitant because of the color. It's too pink, but fret not because when applied, it gives a very pretty flush on your cheeks (very Korean, hehe). It has silver shimmer so you also get that pretty highlights on your chekbones.

Texture is fine but may be a little powdery. I'd prefer using the puff because its soooo soft! There are annoying scent and I didn't feel any itchiness in my cheeks which is very good. Staying power is okay as it lasted on me for about 4-5 hrs. Not bad right? This pretty little thing only cost me Php328.

I fell in love with this blusher, same with the ribbon brush that I bought separately! I'm looking forward to buying more good stuff from Etude House. I would love to hear your recommendations very soon!

Weekend Hauls!

It's the weekend! After a long week of work, I am so excited for the weekend as I am missing the mall and need a lot of zzzzz's.

SM Fairview is in 3-day sale, yipee!!! Thank goodness it's payday! (lol). My good office buddies didn't let the opportunity go, so all of us went a shopping spree. I didn't buy much but I get to enjoy the day with friends. Below is my weekend haul from Yves Rocher and Etude House.

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend!!

VMV Hypoallergenics Matte Lipstick in Copa

Second to eyeliners, I love lipsticks. Right now, I think I have more than 6 and still counting! For me, lipstick add that confidence on your overall look :)

I have been lemming over this shade since last year but couldn't get one because its always out of stock. I'm very glad that I got my hands on this baby at 50% off! Not bad eh? It usually costs Php1050 but I got it for Php525.

NARS Schiap is more brighter and more neon while Copa is a little darker than Schiap but still bright (digs?). Anyway, I like its matte formula because its not drying like my NARS lippie. Just perfect if you want tht pop if color in your lips :)

Yves Rocher Pure System Spot Killing Patch

My zits are all ove the place (lol). These days, they have been a real pain in the neck and they keep on cropping up in the same place. I am desperate to find a solution to this nasty problem.

Then I found this patch from Yves Rocher that is designed to target pimples and make them disappear...pronto! Its the Yves Rocher Spot Killing Patch from their Pure System line. This line is specifically for acne prone skin (me likey ❤)

The patch can be bought for Php480 on any of the Yves Rocher branches. You'll get 24 patches that are sealed in an aluminun foil. There are clear instructions on the label so that you can maximize the usage of the product.

I was a little scared of trying this put because it might worsen my acne condition and it's a little pricey for a patch. Since I am on desperate measures, I had my fingers crossed when I was purchasing this :D so as soon as I got home, I cleaned my face and put 5 patches on my face (one patch for each pimple) and slept. The instructions said that it had to be on for 8 hrs at least. Lo and behold, after 8 hrs, my pimples got a little calmer. Not unlike before I have the patch on that they were all red and angry. The swelling has subsided and it seemed that they are going to heal very soon.

I like the patches, they are very useful especially when you have a big day ahead and pimple suddenly pops out of nowhere. Now, I am leaning towards having their entire Pure System line. Has anyone tried it? I wanna know if they really work :)

ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base

This post is long overdue and now I'd really have to put my foot down and finish it. I hope everyone's been safe over the past few weeks!

I have finished a tube of my very first eyeshadow primer from Tony Moly and decided to try a new one. I finally got to stop by The Beauty Bar at Trinoma and could not pass the opportunity to try ArtDeco's eyeshadow base. Let's go straight to the details!

As per ArtDeco's website: "The Eyeshadow Base with a soft, creamy
consistency prevents the deposition of Eyeshadow in the eyelid crease and makes the powder eyeshadows highly long-lasting, intense and brilliant. The eyeshadow is being applied easier, distributed better and lasts longer. This way, little particles cannot become loose, making it ideal for contact
lens wearers. The base calms reddened eyelids with Bisabolol and neutralizes the color of the eyelid. Vitamin E nourishes and protects the sensitive skin of the eyes. Suitable for all kind of eyeshadows. Free from
animal ingredients." www.artdeco.de

This baby costs Php450 for a 5ml jar. You might think that it's too small or little but this will go a long way. You will only need a little of it to apply on your lids. The consistency is creamy and it's a little shimmery. It has a faint scent that others may not like. The scent reminded me of men's cologne but I don't mind, it smelled nice :)

I have used ModelCo Eyeshadow Trio - Purple Haze Palette to try if it really does make the color more intense, and it does! Staying power is good, I tried using it at work and my eyeshadow stayed in place for a good 8 hrs although the color toned down very little (I have very oily lids).

Overall, I am satisfied with this product and would buy it again if I'm done with my first jar :)
